3rd Edition of Sleep Science School – European Sleep Research Society

Our supervisor, Wojciech Kuczyński MD PhD took part in the 3rd edition of the ESRS Sleep Science School (European Sleep Research Society), which was held in the city of Frejus at the Mediterranean Sea (South France), from 26 September to 1 October 2021. This edition was focused on “The Functions of Sleep“. Only 40 participants were qualified to the 3rd ESRS Sleep Science School.

The program was highly proactive and aimed at a maximal involvement of participants. It included in-depth lectures by a faculty of international sleep experts on topics related to the functions of sleep (both human and animal work), together with presentation and discussion of the participants’ own research. The agenda also included interactive workshop sessions aimed at writing research grants and proposals, and in-depth exchanges between early career and experienced researchers.
